Activity

The activities of UACRR split into four main branches, namely: authors and works registration; collection of royalties and distribution thereof; international cooperation; and legal activity. Each branch is managed by the relevant department.
 
Department of Authors’ Register performs the registration of authors’ works (dramatic, dramatic music, literary, and music works, with or without lyrics, as well as choreographic and fine arts works), negotiates Agreements on Collective Management of Author’s Rights, calculates the remuneration for each author from the sums received by UACRR from users.

Department of Royalty Collection takes up negotiating of licensing agreements with different users as to legal exploitation of all types of public performance of authors’ works and reproduction of those works by means of mechanical, magnetic, and other types of recording. The Department manages the network of regional branches and inspectors. 
 
Department of International Relations covers cooperation with foreign authors’ organizations and international intellectual property organizations.
